Celtic’s previous home match had been against Bayer Leverkusen, a 4-0 defeat under the disco lights that raised plenty of questions despite, at times, Ange Postecoglou’s side impressing against a top Bundesliga side.
Two away wins on the bounce, either side of international boredom had the fans flooding back to Celtic Park with the players responding with a well deserved win.
