Mikey Johnston is the only player returning from injury for Celtic’s trip to Motherwell.

The winger made a brief appearance away to Livingston last month but picked up a knock in training and missed the follow up match at home to Raith Rovers.

Johnston has been dogged by injury over the last 18 months but on his day can be a match-winner but after such a long absence the club will be very careful over his recovery.

Josip Juranovic picked up a hamstring injury against Dundee United that forced him to miss out on international duty with Croatia.

His absence leaves the left-back slot open to Adam Montgomery with Liam Scales as back-up, on the right Tony Ralston will continue after being given a reprieve at the start of the season.

Jullien’s continuing absence is no great surprise but after two matches out Ange Postecoglou was hopeful that James Forrest would be able to play in the Glasgow derby at the end of August. Six weeks later the winger remains unavailable.
