Ange Postecoglou has made just one change to the Celtic side that beat Motherwell for today’s Europa League tie with Ferencvaros.
Adam Montgomery replaces Boli Bolingoli at left-back with the Belgian left out of the squad that Celtic registered with UEFA for the competition.
Postecoglou has again gone with a very attack minded side with Cameron Carter-Vickers and Carl Starfelt the only defensive outfield players.
Just over a year ago Ferencvaros knocked Celtic out of the Champions League with a 2-1 victory in Glasgow, captain Callum McGregor is the only survivor from the Celtic team selected by Neil Lennon that August night.
With both sides losing their opening two matches only a win today will keep hopes of qualification realistic. Six points from the head-to-head matches will keep alive prospects of reaching the knock-out phase. Betis host Leverkusen on Thursday.
CELTIC: Hart; Ralston, Carter-Vickers, Starfelt, Montgomery; Turnbull, McGregor, Rogic; Abada, Kyogo, Jota
SUBS: Bain, Barkas, Scales, Bitton, Giakoumakis, Ajeti, Soro, Johnston, Urhoghide, Shaw, Welsh
Only a win will do today. Of course the bigoted Scottish press/media will downplay it as lucking out so let’s get the win so as to hear the cry bearies. C’mon a Hoops
