Motherwell have announced that their home match with Celtic can be streamed for just £12.
The days when every away match was guaranteed to be on the telly are long gone with BT Sport no longer able to pounce on any match that Sky aren’t showing.
Despite an attractive fixture list on October 16 there won’t be any matches shown live on traditional television which gives clubs the chance to add to their income beyond ticket sales.
This morning Motherwell announced:
You can buy a live stream to watch Motherwell v Celtic on 16 October. Fans of both clubs can buy now for £12 from ppv.motherwellfc.co.uk. Supporters based in Scotland, Northern Ireland, Wales and Ireland can purchase our pay-per-view pass.
The next Celtic away match shown on Sky will be away to Dundee on November 7 with the midweek trip to Hibs on October 27 only available directly from the home club.
Sky have still to announce their festive fixtures with Celtic away to Ross County, St Mirren and St Johnstone before the winter break and a match at Tynecastle on January 26.
