Sevco fans turned on their heroes today following the 1-1 draw at home to Hearts.
Leading through a first half goal from John Lundstram a 90th minute howler from Allan McGregor gave former Ibrox starlet Craig Halkett the chance to head home an equaliser and take a point back to Tynecastle.
After nine matches this season Steven Gerrard’s side have dropped seven points with half of them coming at Ibrox where they went through 19 SPFL matches last season with a 100% record.
As James Tavernier admitted playing in front of fans is something that the Sevco squad struggle to cope with, as well as drawing at home to Motherwell and Hearts they have also lost in Europe to Lyon and Malmo.
McGregor and Alfredo Morelos were the players taking most of the online flack with suggestions that the Colombian ace has been socialising too much with just five goals to his name so far this season.
On Thursday Gerrard’s side host Brondby in a Europa League tie before travelling along the M8 to face St Mirren next Sunday, today the Paisley side enjoyed a 3-2 win away to Ross County- their third successive win.
