Celtic fans had plenty to discuss and moan about after failing to beat Livingston with some even claiming that The Green Brigade were to blame!
The rumoured appointment of Bernard Higgins to a senior security role at the club has struck a raw nerve with a wave of protest on social media followed by a banner protest and 30 minutes of silence at the start of yesterday’s draw.
It was a lacklustre start from Celtic but the remaining 60 minutes wasn’t much different to the period played in silence. In three hours of football against David Martindale’s side the hoops have failed to score and barely created a worthwhile chance.
Without doubt The Green Brigade create the atmosphere inside Celtic Park but yesterday highlighted the lack of alternatives when it comes to backing the team. Some fans would have been sympathetic to the actions in 111 but other than grumbles at the decisions of Bobby Madden the first 30 minutes was played out in near silence.
Celtic don’t have another home match until November 28 when Aberdeen visit, hopefully some of the issues will be resolved by then but the real silence comes from inside the club with communications restricted to a bare minimum leaving the overworked Supporters Liaison Officer to take the flack.
Really the GB, Bhoys and the Trust didn’t win that game for us today as a collective fan base – Slim you have the right to express your view but FFS that’s just outrageous ?

Nonsense. You’re actually blaming supporters because the Celtic team aren’t good enough to break Livingston down? Geez peace.

If we`re to rely on the GB singing from kick off to beat Livi, we might as well chuck it.

Miles off it with that comment, if you want to blame anyone blame the Celtic Board who seem hell bent on antagonising their own support.
This guy Higgins should be nowhere near our club and this should be just the start of the protests to make sure he doesn’t get in the door.— jim (@jim4greenfields) October 30, 2021
The green brigade were right in front of me at the game at livingstone and dang their hearts out for the full game as we all did and livi beat us that day, so sorry, gotta disagree with you on this.

Just another 59,950 fans in the stadium to sing but it was the GB’s fault

That’s a stretch Slim by a long way. Those boys stand for what they believe in and I agree with them on this. They can be eejits at times, but do way more good than bad.

Hence the reason why the board continue to not only attempt but get away with appointing folk who have no place in our club at any level . Fan power won before ,stay silent and we’ll lose any identity we still have

They never do. Ye get looked at when ye try to sing. Atmosphere brutal without the green brigade. Let’s all be honest here

100% agree. The irony here is the people slating you here say the board don’t care about the team so why do something which affects the team?! Boycott the store or the snack bars – don’t do something which affects the players….

What a stupid statement blaming GB the manager carries part of the blame along with the board also we still have Dump and Dumper in dugout also the players must accept there share of blame for draw yesterday.
Not one player tried to take on and run at them while we’re on it Johnston will never be good enough
We all know how livi play against us so fckn change our style of play. Sideways never works against them they just sit back and watch. A wee ball over the top against such formations usually works as does a shot outside the box. No fckn rocket science.
People pay good money to watch the game. If that’s all they want to do then that’s up to them. Some shout, some sing, some don’t.
2 terrible tackles again today, no yellows. £55 fine per dangerous tackle £110 saved. One good thing could come out of it. The Paper Boy might get paid this week…
