Just before Jota scored Celtic’s third goal at Dundee today there was another highlight for the hoops support.
A couple of times every week Charlie Adam will be sharing his views with the media, rarely is he complimentary about Celtic while most matters Ibrox related are talked up out of recognition.
While making the transition from playing into the media the former Liverpool midfielder also has to turn out against Celtic with the hoops handing out another couple of lessons with today’s beating.
Fresh from a 15 minute half-time break Adam found himself in the left-back area of the park, challenging Tony Ralston for the ball. The Celtic man is enjoying the best form of his career, those days are long past for the Dundee veteran.
Adam tried to use all of his bulk to knock Ralston off the ball but came off second best, as he crashed to the turf and tried to get back to his feet his opponent made the most of the space to send in a brilliant front post ball that Jota put into the net.
Ten minutes into the second half Celtic had increased their lead from 2-1 to 4-1 with James McPake sparing his skipper any more suffering by making a substitution.
