Ange Postecoglou expects to have Tom Rogic and Nir Bitton available for Thursday’s match at home to Hearts.
The Australian suffered a hamstring knock away to Hibs on October 27 but in a post-match interview today Postecoglou said that he would definitely be available for the match against Robbie Neilson’s side.
Bitton has deputised for Rogic over the last month but a head knock against Bayer Leverkusen saw him miss today’s win over Aberdeen with James McCarthy taking his place.

With a bit of luck hopefully Niro (Bitton) should be available again and Tommy Rogic will definitely be available for Thursday. Carl Starfelt isn’t too far away, Greg Taylor isn’t too far away.
We’re getting some troops back but we’re going to need them, there’s a heavy schedule with a lot of games, more importantly, its not just about the games its about our levels of performance, we don’t want that to drop, we’re going to need everybody in the squad.
With McCarthy playing his first full match of the season the return of Bitton and Rogic gives Postecoglou some depth and options for the 10 matches before the winter break which starts on January 2.
Today’s match wasn’t pretty on the eye but that is likely to be the pattern throughout December with matches scheduled at a rapid rate.
Chris Jullien and Karamoko Dembele have still to play any competitive action this season with no word on when either is likely to be back involved.
