David Tanner believes that Hibs have been stiffed for League Cup Final tickets.
Last season the former Sky Sports presenter was the face of Hibs TV but it seems that Dougie Donnelly has slipped into his chair at Easter Road this season.
After taking 10,000 fans to their semi-final on Sunday Hibs will be able to invite 7,500 glory-seekers to the final on December 18 with over 10,000 Celtic fans that went to the win over St Johnstone missing out on a final ticket.
The subject was brought up by a disinterested reporter at Ange Postecoglou’s media conference today with the Celtic boss laughing it off. Tanner was less amused but few Celtic fans were prepared to humour the ex-Sky Sports reporter.
Last season Tanner made a few appearances on BT Sport’s coverage of the Europa League, it seems that Connie McLaughlin has taken that gig off him this season.
I have no problem with this response from a head coach. What Ange says is correct and a fair response.
If the roles were reversed, of course, the Celtic fans would expect him to come out in support of them.

Hibs aren’t getting stiffed on tickets they are getting way more than they sold for the semi sell more for the semi final get more for the final easy solution why should supporters who went to the semi not get for the final because hibs are greeting about the allocation

Personally I would give Hibs half the tickets on the understanding any unsold tickets Hibs would pay full price.
