Callum McGregor has rarely been as animated as when he celebrated his winning goal against Aberdeen.
Within seconds of Joe Lewis blocking Liel Abada’s shot the mood had switched from frustration to elation as a clearance from Jonny Hayes smashed off McGregor’s backside and into the net.
Straight away the captain was over celebrating with supporters in the corner of the stadium, the dubious penalty that had levelled the scores in the 33rd minute.
The unique angle footage also captured the simplicity of Celtic’s opening goal with McGregor cutting the ball back to Jota who shot high into the net before setting off to enjoy his new goal celebration.
After the painful way that they had been knocked out of the Europa League on Thursday it was vital that Celtic quickly got back to winning ways.
It wasn’t the greatest exhibition of Angeball but after dropping home points to Dundee United and Livingston beating Aberdeen was the marker needed going into a very demanding run of fixtures leading into the winter break.
