Jim Spence has offered a simple solution to the cash crisis at Ibrox.
Yesterday the nine-year-old club announced losses of £23.5m with turnover down to just £47.7m for the year to 30 June 2021.
A player-trading model is often discussed but so far the £1.75m that Wigan paid for Josh Windass in 2018 is the record fee that the club has backed.
Since moving to Ibrox from HJK Helsinki in the summer of 2017 there has been heavy speculation about Morelos being sold but after eight transfer windows the strongest bid was from an unknown club in China in January 2018.
Once Morelos goes for £100 million that’ll be loose change ? https://t.co/QB4e8qk9SS

A £100m fee would solve all of the cash problems at Ibrox in a stroke, investor loans could be repaid with whinging Steven Gerrard able to bring in fresh faces during the January transfer window.
At the end of this season Steve Davis, Allan McGregor, Scott Arfield and Connor Goldson are out of contract, Morelos is under contract until June 2022.
Steven Gerrard says there have been no bids for Rangers’ Alfredo Morelos despite reports of a £30m contract offer in China.https://t.co/4kv7LbRNj4 pic.twitter.com/0vSFnuKKyb
