You get an invite to question the manager of Celtic the day before a Europa League tie.
It is Matchday 5, after losing their first two the hoops are going to face a top German team knowing that they must take something from the match to retain a chance of progress in the competition.
The Celtic boss has shown himself to be a character of some depth. Previously he talked about Alfredo di Stefano in the build up to a European match.
He has coached in Australia and Japan, managed his nation at the World Cup Finals and has brought a freshness to media coverage of Scottish football.
With all of those options why would you want to ask a football manager about ticket allocations for a match in four weeks time?
? “I have no desire or any inkling to get involved in ticket allocations – that’s not my brief!”
Celtic boss Ange Postecoglou says he couldn’t be less interested in ticket allocations for the Premier Sports Cup final.

There seems to be a feeling that Celtic have benefitted from the cup final allocation despite a reduction on tickets from the semi-final. Hibs have been given 17,500 tickets after taking 10,000 supporters to the semi-final.
Who knows the thought process of the reporter that decided that the burning issue was about tickets to Hibs supporters that barely attend a match at Easter Road.
