The Sun has given the shameful banner on display at Ibrox opposing taking the knee a mainstream platform.
For over a year Steven Gerrard’s players have been taking the knee in support of the Black Lives Matter campaign following the murder of George Floyd.
Across all sports around the globe the campaign has been backed and supported but one group of Ibrox fans have a different view on the issue.

Since March of this year the Ibrox club has been strongly opposed to racism, at one stage boycotting social media for 48 hours although that was broken when the Duke of Edinburgh died.
Connor Goldson and James Tavernier have spoken out about their support for taking the knee, so far there has been no comment from Ibrox about the banner although CCTV should be able to identify the fans involved.
