Ange Postecoglou has made two changes to the Celtic side that drew 0-0 with Livingston on Saturday for tonight’s Europa League clash with Ferencvaros.
Stephen Welsh and Kyogo Furuhashi replace the injured Carl Starfelt and Giorgos Giakoumakis in a match where a win will guarantee Celtic third place at worst and a drop into the Europa Conference on Sunday.
Starfelt and Carter-Vickers have been paired together in each of Celtic’s three group matches to date but injury to the Swede has opened the door for the return of Welsh who played away to Midtjylland and AZ Alkmaar earlier this season.
James Forrest and Mikey Johnstone came off the bench against Livi but have to remain among the substitutes tonight which has a youthful look with Dane Murray and Tobi Oluwayemi also listed on the bench.
