Ange Postecoglou completed his first visit to Hampden Park being serenaded by thousands of Celtic fans.
On December 19 he can look forward to a return trip to the National Stadium and the chance to win his first trophy as manager of Celtic.
Hampden was rocking for more than 90 minutes as over 40,000 Celtic fans willed their team to success against a St Johnstone team that gives nothing away cheaply, any success against Callum Davidson’s side has to be earned.

It wasn’t easy on the eyes as Celtic grafted for a breakthrough, fortunately they had an experienced campaigner to come off the bench to show the new recruits how it is done.
James Forrest did what he has done many times before, netting against St Johnstone, scoring at Hampden and as the crowds dispersed into the night Celtic’s straight talking Aussie was the man of the moment.
The main thing we are in the final great for confidence in the team going forward so well done celtic and well done ange and his staff just keep winning as you can see how the corrupt refs are .
