Words can’t really do it justice but in the first half of Celtic’s League Cup semi-final win over St Johnstone there was one incredible piece of skill from Jota.
The on loan Benfica winger has already lit up Celtic’s season with stunning skills and an ability around goal that not many in his position possess.
Jota seems to be right footed playing on the left but full-backs can’t take the ‘easy’ option of thinking that they can push the 22-year-old onto his weaker foot.

Shaun Rooney was the direct opponent today, tracking the Benfica man isn’t for the faint hearted but there was nothing that Rooney could do to block out the skill shown above.
Unfortunately there was no goal at the end of it but that wasn’t due to lack of effort, ability of imagination.
Jota did have a major say in the goal that decided the match, racing onto a high clearance in the 72nd minute to deliver the ball into the penalty box that substitute James Forrest netted from.
