Richard Gough has fat-shamed Alfredo Morelos live on national radio.
The former Rangers defender turned up on Radio Scotland on Monday night despite not having watched the League Cup semi-final at Hampden the previous day.
Morelos barely had a chance in the match as his poor run of form continued, earlier in the season Steven Gerrard had highlighted that five goals in 15 matches wasn’t a good enough return from the Colombian striker.
Gough put in a rather incoherent performance on the show, constantly harking back to his playing days and the old fashioned management style of Walter Smith. The phrase No Surrender was used throughout despite the Ibrox Tribute Act winning one major trophy since formation in 2012.

No chance, he would have lasted three minutes with me. He’s walking about as a centre-forward, you saw him offside with the goalkeeper’s kick outs and he’s still offside. He looks 10lbs too heavy for me. Different days but he wouldn’t have been playing in any of the teams that I played in, put it that way.

He’s definitely not playing at the same level as last year. The rest of the dressing room will have been looking at that as well and saying ‘the kid is 10lbs overweight or 7lbs overweight, he’s letting him play. So that goes through the dressing room as well if you see that, there is a lack of respect in the dressing room if you see that happening.
So far this season Morelos has scored seven goals in 21 matches while picking up six yellow cards.
Gough is a dim witted individual. He is also a bigot and a supremacist.
Definitely not a decent human being.
