Anthony Joseph believes that Celtic are pushing to conclude their J-League transfer business as early as possible in the January transfer window.
Under Peter Lawwell Celtic tended to leave most of their business towards the end of transfer windows with that trait continuing into the year when Jota, Giorgos Giakoumakis and Cameron Carter-Vickers were signed on the final day of the transfer window.
Whenever asked about January activity Ange Postecoglou has appeared very confident that business could be completed early with targets identified but not named by the club.
Celtic are also continuing talks in their pursuit of Yokohama F Marinos forward Daizen Maeda and Gamba Osaka midfielder Yosuke Ideguchi.
It’s understood the Hoops are looking to complete their January business early in the window.

Reo Hatate, Daizen Maeda and Yosuke Ideguchi have been strongly linked with joining Kyogo Furuhashi at Celtic based on Postecoglou’s know how of the J-League.
International clearance and travel issues may come into play but Celtic fans will be hoping that business can be completed in the first week of January to allow the new signings to join the squad for warm weather training ahead of the Scottish Cup tie against Alloa on January 22 and SPFL trip to Tynecastle four days later.
Making signings earlier in the windows would be a real and welcome change in how we operate, influenced I’m sure by Ange and I hope the board listening to the fans. HH
