Nir Bitton appears to have made a rapid getaway from the freezing Scottish winter.
Around 2.30pm on Sunday he was tucking a goal away to secure the points against St Johnstone followed by some media duties. By breakfast time on Monday Bitton was posting an image from Mina Al Salam Hotel in Dubai.
It could of course have been an old image from the past but with three weeks until Hibs visit Celtic Park the Israeli internationalist looks to be enjoying some sunshine while others shiver at home.
Earlier this year Dubai became a five letter word for Celtic fans as Neil Lennon led the first team squad out for a week of training on the back of a defeat at Ibrox just as Scotland was going into lockdown.
On their return Celtic faced a rescheduled match against Hibs with 14 players self isolating as well as Lennon and John Kennedy.
Ange Postecoglou has abandoned plans for a warm weather training camp with the squad expected to reassemble a week before the Hibs match with new additions expected on board.
