Dan Orlowitz is convinced that Celtic’s interest in Daizen Maeda, Reo Hatate and Yosuke Ideguchi is genuine.
News emerged at tea-time UK time about the triple deal which is being lined up for January with Ideguchi a new name added to Ange Postecoglou’s J-League wish list.
Orlowitz, who writes for the Japan Times provided detailed commentary from the moment that Celtic were first linked with Postecoglou, accurately predicting that style of football that the Australian would bring.
RE: Celtic triple-bid,
At first glance I think it’s kind of insane b/c I still remember when Ideguchi threw his international career away with the Leeds thing.
But when Japan’s biggest news agency reports it all & cites sources, they have my attention.https://t.co/KrBtIQkwR2

In a refreshingly honest confession he revealed that he wouldn’t be breaking any transfer stories but has been able to authenticate what news/rumours are emerging about possible transfers.
If Celtic can bring in three players from the J-League in the first part of January it will give the squad and the fans a major lift. Postecoglou and Kyogo Furuhashi can do little wrong in the eyes of most fans despite being unknown quantities six months ago.
The Celtic boss has admitted that he will look to the J-League in January but hasn’t commented on any specific targets.
Great news. If they are anything close to Kyogo then I will be a very happy man. We need to kick on to the next level, and by that I mean competing in Europe, not only winning the spl. Ange knows the Japanese market very well. Not going to be two faced, Wasn’t keen on his appointment. Every day goes by though I like the big guy more. Well and truly aboard the Ange bus.
