Did Celtic’s SLO play a secret role in Tony Ralston’s dramatic winning goal against Ross County?

One eagle-eyed Celtic fan spotted the potentially key role that the club’s Supporter Liaison Officer played in the dramatic win over Ross County last night.

With the match deep in injury time Celtic were awarded a corner on the left hand side while they chased a winning goal.

A close look at the video clip from BBC Scotland shows John-Paul Taylor passing on some key instructions to Turnbull as he prepares to deliver the corner.

The corner kick was headed clear to the edge of the penalty box, Owen Moffat and Callum McGregor fed the ball to Tom Rogic with his hanging cross headed into the net by Tony Ralston.

It might be a stretch to credit JP Taylor with an assist but it was a goal that he won’t forget in a hurry, nor any of the thousands of fans that made the eight hour round trip in the depth of winter.
