One tweet from an Aberdeen fan last night gained plenty of traction as fans of every club reacted to the predictable events at Easter Road last night.
Supporters of every club know the feeling. Your team is doing well, on course to take a point or more from an Ibrox club when out of nowhere a Lanarkshire referee decides to change the course of the match and you end up pointless.
Dons fan @hughlittle1 shared his thoughts without even having watched the incident where John Beaton awarded a penalty against Ryan Porteous. The only doubt last night was whether it would be a penalty awarded or a red card against a Hibs player that would turn the match.
Former BBC Scotland commentator David Begg was quick to defend Beaton’s decision, so too was Jon McLeish, son of the former Hibs manager and now a Football Agent.
An 85th minute penalty for Sevco given by self confessed Sevco fan John Beaton in a 0-0 score line away to Hibs, who would have guessed……well, everyone, actually. Every week in SPfL, never happens in Europe. Corrupt.

Haven’t seen it David, watching the Dons. Had a bet on it though.

It was a pen though Hugh. Porteous rash again

Even Andy Walker agreed! ?

Try and watch it again but imagine Ryan Kent was in an Aberdeen strip and then decide if it was a penalty.

A cheat who’s watering hole is a well known sevco pub only in Scotland it’s corruption no other word for it just wish every board in the league would speak out
The old saying goes “I’ve seen them given”. It has got so bad (not just with sevco games) that penalties are awarded without it being a handball or contact or in the Aberdeen game when their player made contact with our player! Also there is a term used ” I have seen them not given”. In other words there is a grey area that sevco minded referees expose”. There is a discrepancy. They influence the outcome of games by giving Sevco positive early decisions ie bookings to the opposition. If this doesn’t work they will continue with “honest mistakes” until they have a positive outcome.
The cheating by Beaton is as predictable as it is corrupt.
Don’t tell me that Sevco don’t know the script by now when Beaton or Mad-Hun Madden or a dozen other of the Corrupt Squad are officiating and they’re struggling for a win.
”Get yourself inside the penalty box and give me a decision to make and the game is yours – I’ll see to that.”
It cannot go on.
The question is – What do we do about it?
An expectant dive. A compliant ref. Another points gift.
The problem in scottish football and football around the world is corruption has been for decades fixing games and refs bent agents managers taking back handers in transfers directors also on the take the joke on keeping clubs spending more money than the take in psj man City etc sponsored by they people who own them its all corruption.our club no better the Kelly days of chipping off thousands of pounds in the attendence at parkhead on match days the whole system of football is bent fifa the biggest mob and European mob .
That’s the reason I do not go to football now ….the SFA ( and their cohorts) are as corrupt as they come . The other clubs not speaking out is due to big fines by the SFA . What can the fans do unless they give up moaning and stop going to football…like I did . ??
