One tweet from an Aberdeen fan last night gained plenty of traction as fans of every club reacted to the predictable events at Easter Road last night.
Supporters of every club know the feeling. Your team is doing well, on course to take a point or more from an Ibrox club when out of nowhere a Lanarkshire referee decides to change the course of the match and you end up pointless.
Dons fan @hughlittle1 shared his thoughts without even having watched the incident where John Beaton awarded a penalty against Ryan Porteous. The only doubt last night was whether it would be a penalty awarded or a red card against a Hibs player that would turn the match.
Former BBC Scotland commentator David Begg was quick to defend Beaton’s decision, so too was Jon McLeish, son of the former Hibs manager and now a Football Agent.
An 85th minute penalty for Sevco given by self confessed Sevco fan John Beaton in a 0-0 score line away to Hibs, who would have guessed……well, everyone, actually. Every week in SPfL, never happens in Europe. Corrupt.

Haven’t seen it David, watching the Dons. Had a bet on it though.

It was a pen though Hugh. Porteous rash again

Even Andy Walker agreed! ?

Try and watch it again but imagine Ryan Kent was in an Aberdeen strip and then decide if it was a penalty.
