With Bernard Higgins no longer on the menu the Green Brigade switched the focus of their protests to the Scottish Government.

Around 5,000 fans watched last night’s 0-0 draw away to St Mirren but Sunday’s match away to St Johnstone will be played out in front of just 500 fans.

Indoor shopping centres will be busy with bargain hunters but if you want to support your team you’ll have to watch on telly with many fans meeting up indoors to watch their favourites in action.

The logic in the latest sanctions against football is hard to work out, 500 fans inside Celtic Park is fairly different to the same number inside a lower division ground with Dumbarton’s C & G Systems Stadium holding 2050 seats in one stand.

Lobbying yesterday to put the 500 limit on stadiums back till midnight on the 26th of December was rejected. A week after 50,000 were inside Hampden Park to the retrospective concern of Deputy First Minister John Swinney.

Fans can get on buses and trains on Sunday to congregate elsewhere but meeting up inside an outdoor arena is strictly off the agenda of the Scottish Government.

When you get on a bus or a train go into a shop pub etc their could be a few hundred people or less when you go to parkhead 50/60 thousand fans all sitting standing shoulder to shoulder thats the difference health first football way down on importance. At present if we did not have the people who are against the vaccine for what ever reason we might by now on our way to be at least making it safe to go to football etc and getting on with our lives as normal as possible the people not having the vaccine will keep the virus infecting us and people will keep getting ill and sadly some will die we might never get rid of it but the NHS can’t continue to be over run by this virus its costing other lives with delayed surgery treatments etc from other illnesses get jabbed

The glorified dentist who speaks for the Scottish government said before the weekend he wasn’t concerned about fans in the stadium as it is a vast open area , he was more concerned with how fans got there ,IE supporters buses, trains , car sharing, in pubs , etc , so what’s different about being in a stadium since Sunday .

Aye blame it on the people that don’t have the vaccine absolutely nothing to do with that , if you are gonna come out with facts make sure they are accurate , getting jabbed does not stop you getting it or passing it on so how can it be the unvaxed fault , last week myself my wife stepdaughter and son in law all tested positive for it I was ill for 24 hrs my wife and that have been ill all week she has been vaccinated so has her daughter and son in law , I haven’t had my jabs ,so explain to me if these magnificent jabs been so great why have I been the least affected and the others affected worse , so please tell me how are the unvaxed causing the spread the problem is to many sheep and puppets in this country do as they are told and believe the propaganda they are told as well and by the way people have been dying of colds pneumonia and flues For generations nothing changes

Please explain why then is it a Proven FACT that of the people requiring hospitalisation. 95%, read that again, 95% are unvaccinated.
That’s what’s overwhelming the NHS. That’s what is causing other scheduled hospital services to be cancelled.
That’s what is putting NHS and essential Services Personnel at risk.
That’s thousands of unvaccinated people contracting the virus and keeping the virus within the community before being hospitalised. Thousands of unvaccinated people at liberty to infect multi thousands of family, friends, co-workers, strangers on public transport going to all parts of the country.

My daughter just happens to be a Senior Scientist ( Micro-Biology ).
When she visits she stands, mask on, rubber gloves, on the veranda. She still won’t enter the house, even though she is allowed to under the guidance.
I know who I listen to and trust on these matters.
    It’s SCIENCE.
