Hampden looks likely to escape the levels of fog and mist that caused problems across Scottish football yesterday.

There were spells of heavy mist at Ibrox during the win over Dundee United while the games at Kilmarnock and Cumbernauld (Clyde) were abandoned due to the weather conditions.

Glasgow again woke up to a misty morning but it seems that things should clear as the day goes on with the match kicking off at 3pm.

BBC Scotland’s Glasgow weather forecast is:

This morning will be dry with some sunny spells and the odd patch of mist and fog. In the afternoon, it will turn mainly overcast but will stay mainly dry, barring the odd spot of light drizzle.

Tonight, will continue mostly overcast. It will remain largely dry aside from the odd spot of drizzle. Areas of mist and fog will form overnight under calm conditions. Light winds.

Over 50,000 fans are expected at the National Stadium with the match shown live on Premier Sports.
