Kyogo Furuhashi’s Scottish education has continued with the Celtic striker sampling Irn-Bru.

The other national drink used to be bottled on the doorstep of Celtic Park but with nutrition now an essential part of the game it isn’t quite the done thing to be guzzling away at the fizzy drink.

Kyogo seems keen to integrate himself into all matters Scottish and seemed happy with the outcome as he tasted Irn-Bru during a Q and A on Celtic’s Twitter account.

Whatever it took last week to get the striker in a fit condition to play in the League Cup Final at Hampden on Sunday is due the gratitude of the Celtic support.

After labouring through wins over Motherwell and Ross County the return of Kyogo provided a fresh edge at Hampden with the striker scoring his 15th and 16th goals of the season.

Whether he is in action tonight against St Mirren, should the match go ahead is still uncertain but the signing of the former Vissel Kobe striker has been the most significant of 2021 for the Celtic support.
