After more than a month of protests and demonstrations the Green Brigade has yet to hear anything from Celtic about the rumoured appointment of Bernard Higgins to a senior security role at the club.

On October 30 at home to Livingston the Green Brigade remained silent for 30 minutes with barely a sound heard elsewhere in the ground.

With no word from Michael Nicholson following an open letter signed by over 250 different supporter groups the Green Brigade are ready to stay silent throughout the Europa League tie at home to Real Betis.

Do you back the GB call for talks with Nicholson

Yes, they have a valid point

No, Nicholson and Bankier know best

The great European atmosphere is one of Celtic’s main selling points, a silent background while BT Sport broadcast to a UK wide audience will certainly take the Higgins issue to a far larger number of people.

At last month’s AGM Ian Bankier refused to make any comment either way about the possible appointment of Higgins.

When will the GB realise that the board can not and I stress can not show weakness over this stand off. If the board give in to them were will it end. Celtic have a great support whether the GB are there or not.

      Well said.

This isn’t just about the Green Brigade.

The Celtic support far and wide, has backed the opposition to this man being appointed to a senior role in our club.

Higgins is responsible for directing untold mental anguish to some of our supporters. The Celtic board not the first time, has shown a real disregard and disrespect to their supporters, by refusing to engage in dialogue over this issue.

They should remember what the Maestro once said, “Celtic Football Club is the fans..without them, there is no Club.”

Nicholson, like the rest of the imposters in the boardroom have proved they only misrepresent us. They are unfit for purpose.

I take yr point, Charles about coercion and not being seen to be giving in to it.

However you seem to be suggesting that it’s just the GB that’s concerned about the issue; what about all the other fan groups who have pitched in along side them? a fairly significant number I would say.

However, I’ll say it till the cows come home, there’s only one way to get then to listen and take the issue seriously, and that is to deprive them of yr hard-earned readies (still a form of coercion).

IMHO they would soon realise the seriousness of the situation; anything less is a waste of effort, you might as well not bother.

Ghod bless the Green Brigade it’s the only way that the high hied yin’s will take any notice.

Right behind GB and their attitude and actions. It’s the fans who made and still make this club and its high time we were listened to
This particular person call grief and heartache to many supporters and their families ,but it seem irrelevant to the club as they now expect us to help pay his wages “CLOSE THE FRONT DOOR”
