More Ibrox porkies as they use ‘150th anniversary Legends Event’ for another January cash grab

The commercial department at Ibrox have come up with another event to extract money from the Gullibles next month.

With Friday’s Lowland League derby match postponed and no refunds on offer a 150th anniversary Legends event has been announced featuring giants of the game such as Kris Boyd, Paul Gascoigne, Michael Mols and Sasa Papic on the promise of a few nights accommodation and expenses at the end of March.

Super Staunch bears that are on the My Gers scheme can pay £22 for a ticket before January 25 with less staunch bears able to buy tickets the following day.

The club founded by Charles Green, Mike Ashley and Ally McCoist in 2012 have decided to apply top spin to the promotion of the match claiming that they are the first major European side to reach 150 years.

Overlooking the fact that they are 140.5 years short of that landmark Nottingham Forest quietly celebrated their 150th anniversary in 2015 having won two more European Cups than every team that ever played home matches at Ibrox.
