New footage has emerged of the injury that Kyogo Furuhashi suffered in an off the ball clash with John Souttar.

After a shot from Josip Juranovic went over the bar the Hearts defender appeared to turn on Kyogo and grab his stomach for a few seconds. Soon after the Celtic striker lifted his shirt to show the extent of the damage.

During the match Bobby Madden only spotted nine fouls by the Hearts players, it was hardly surprising that he missed out on the Kyogo incident which also escaped the attention of the Sky Sports cameras and pundits.

With Jota, Stephen Welsh and Tony Ralston all injured during the win over Hearts the last thing that Ange Postecoglou needs is another injury to contend with.

Already without Giorgos Giakoumakis for the next two to three weeks Albian Ajeti is the only other striker available to Postecoglou as he attempts to nurse Celtic through a hectic run of fixtures leading into the winter break starting on January 2.
