Team News: Ange makes nine changes with a guessing game over the striker

Ange Postecoglou makes nine changes to the Celtic side that beat Real Betis on Thursday night with Nir Bitton and Liel Abada the only survivors to face Motherwell in the SPFL Premiership.

Wholesale changes were expected with the main area of interest in attack where Ange Postecoglou is without the injured duo of Albian Ajeri and Kyogo Furuhash.

It seems like four midfielders have been listed plus Abada and James Forrest opening up the possibility of Tom Rogic playing as a withdrawn centre-forward.

Liam Shaw and Ewan Henderson earn a place on the bench after their performances against Real Betis but there is no place in the 18 for Osaze Uehoghide or Liam Scales with Tony Ralston back on the bench after missing the last two matches.

Euan Anderson from Clydebank is the match referee.

CELTIC: Hart; Juranovic, Carter-Vickers, Starfelt, Taylor; Bitton, McGregor, Turnbull; Abada, Rogic, Forrest

SUBS: Bain, McCarthy, Johnston, Shaw, Henderson, Ralston, Welsh
