The Hearts v Celtic match wasn’t short on incidents as an NGRY Robbie Neilson and an even angrier Kris Boyd highlighted last night.

A marginal potential offside call at the Celtic goal has dominated the post-match discussions but fresh evidence has emerged of an incident that deserves further investigation.

Some dramatic pictures did emerge of Kyogo falling back but no still image will ever tell the truth about an incident.

As Josip Juranovic shot over the bar John Souttar turned his attention to the Celtic goalscorer, inside the six yard box with the ball out of play.

The video clip appears to show the Hearts defender grabbing or pinching Kyogo in the stomach for a few seconds, forcing the striker to fall to the ground.

An image of Kyogo showed marking on his stomach, it could be entirely unrelated but after a low key start to the season it might be time for the SFA Compliance Officer to step in or better still accelerate the implementation of VAR.

Totally uncalled for. We dirty side from soapy soutar. Still like us to sign him though.

  • Jimmy Devlin says:

Souttars done something it seems, but “causing him to fall bacwards”? Really? If anything, itd cause a person to bend forwards. Love wee Kyogo but this falling over at every opportunity is the one thing i cant stand.its embarrassing

    • Stev says:

Dont talk pish. You would pull away from it.

      • Jim says:

Can’t ignore it. You chose to ignore the Hearts player getting hit with a bottle. This needs to be dealt with before it sullies our fans reputation. I guess you didn’t see it Joe. Not one mention of it and we get Kris Boyd stories instead. Sort yourself out.

  • SSMPM says:

The country is full of no mark huns, so don’t hold your breath

  • Michael McCartney says:

The club that would benefit from any retrospect punishment for Soutar is “The Rangers” as the punishment for this would kick in a week on Sunday against Rangers at Tynecastle. The Rangers fans will be very thankful to the Celtic sites for highlighting this.

  • Seppington says:

Thank you I thought I was the only one who saw it. Feckin’ Andy Walker “I couldn’t see what Kyogo is complaining about” – aye right ya monotonous walloper, ye just don’t want to offend your hun paymasters…

It’s blatantly obvious in the clip he pinches Kyogo, you can see him move his hand to Kyogo’s belly and it doesn’t move until our boy has fallen halfway to the deck.
I know a lot of folk are saying we should sign him and I don’t know which side of the divide he is from but to me that’s neddish hun behaviour of the sort we can do without. It’s bad enough we’ve got muppets behaving like them in the stands, let’s not sign any for on the pitch,eh?

  • Rob O’Keeffe says:

The biggest laugh is Kkkris Void calling for VAR.I can hear Tavernier shouting no from here…..Stupid Stupid Huns…

  • LeonBhoy says:

That would be typical,Soutar gets a retrospective 2 game ban and then misses the Sevco match at Tynecastle.

  • Tony B says:

That is a very disturbing image.

What would possess someone to do something like that, and what does it say about his mindset?

This thug should be nowhere near our club.

    • Jimmy says:

He pinched him at worse. The outcry here us embaressing. A very disturbing issue you say Tony B.Assault from others. Get a grip FFS Wow!. No mention of a guy getting hit with a bottle because it suits your thinking.
Pinched or hit with a bottle. I know what I would prefer.

      • Stevie says:

        Plastic bottle still no excuse.
        You seem hun-like to me.

        • Jim says:

Plastic bottle still no excuse. So you agree, yet you say I am a Hun. Strange comment.
Going over the top about a pinch yet no comment from the Editor about the bottles thrown. Strange.

Editor: The usual suspects will go on about bottles, legacy media. I’m independent, will select any subject I like and will focus on the SFA’s treatment of Celtic, Celtic players and Celtic supporters with the silent approval of the elderly grey suits that are holding Celtic back.

          • Jim says:

Your independent Joe, Fair enough. But be consistent. Tell us why you didn’t write about the guy getting hit with the bottle. FACT. Story about a Possible pinching of our player and you want an inquiry opened. Be consistent or you lose the argument.

    • Jack says:

It only happens to good players I’m sure kyogo will treat it as a badge of honour about time Jamie’s forrest watch the other players taking the hits and tackling taking players on out side without fear of tackle james

The supporters are getting fed up with not challenging in the air not holding ball for fear of kick from behind not putting challenge in when other players having to do it your team mates want say it but the supporters are not so you have to grow again or sit it out no good being in fear you are just helping opposition I’m sure supporters you meet tell you and you must here the the moaning every time you bottle a tackle refuse to take wide route cause your likely to get a sore one there’s laws won free kicks or penalties its grass not red Ash even astro turf might sting wearing the hoops and the history you should be running through doors brave up and be a team player the supporters will see it and you will be loved again

  • harold shand says:

Just when they were all starting to say ‘ Ohhh he’s not scored for 3 games ‘

He pops up scores the winner and has them all demented again

    Just love this guy

  • Mary says:

It was a blatant horrible attack on Kyogo, just watch the flipping clip!! A blind man on a galloping horse could see it! More time spent trying to disprove a goal ! He was assaulted absolutely no doubt about.

  • Stevie says:

I still blame the Celtic Tory board for failing supporters for years of referees cheating.
    Bring on Var.
FFS we play in a league with a secret 5 way agreement.
