Watch the Connor Goldson handball at Tynecastle ‘missed’ by PE teacher Nick Walsh

Connor Goldson must be thinking that there has been a rule change after getting away with another penalty box handball at Tynecastle yesterday.

Midway through the second half and trailing 2-0 Hearts were in desperate need of a lifeline back into the match when Gary Mackay-Steven collected a high cross and reached the bye-line.

Nick Walsh moved across the penalty box perfectly as the Hearts winger cut the ball back. Half heartedly Goldson extended his arm to reduce the danger in full view of the match referee.

He deflected the ball into the path of Liam Boyce who shot over the bar with Walsh refusing the obvious and correct decision to award a goal kick.

Later in the match Walsh had recovered his judgement, spotting an infringement by Josh Ginnelly to hand out a second yellow card to the Hearts winger in the 80th minute.

Today Walsh will be back at the day job working on the fitness of Murray Park starlets during PE classes at Boclair Secondary School.
