Celtic’s u-18 side moved into the last eight of the SFA Youth Cup with a 6-0 win over Ross County yesterday afternoon.

Adam Brooks led the way with a double with Daniel Kelly, Ben Summers, Dylan Corr and Corey Thomson were the scorers for Greig Robertson’s side.

With most of the side having played in the nitty gritty of Lowland League football dropping down to play at u-18 level appears to have been relatively straightforward.

According to Celtic Twitter

5 minutes, 1-0 Kelly

34 minutes 2-0 Brooks

41 minutes 3-0 Brooks

57 minutes 4-0 Summers

81 minutes 5-0 Corr

85 minutes 6-0 Thomson

CELTIC: McLean, Goldie, MacKenzie, Robertson, Corr, Deane, Davidson (Mosson 60), Kelly (Bonner 60), Brooks (Luyeye 67), Summers, Thomson

SUBS: Mahady, Easton

Two ties are still outstanding in the Third Round with the last eight likely to be much more competitive.

On Saturday Celtic B take on Edinburgh University in the Lowland League at Airdrie with the match kicking off at 1pm.
