After initially reporting Nathan Patterson’s fee to Everton as undisclosed BBC Scotland have got in-line with a claim that the fee is £11.5m.

That works out at much more than £1m for each match that he has started in the SPFL Premiership.

The fee from Everton has been the subject of incredible spin but even in the madness of the EPL £11.5m for James Tavernier’s understudy is an incredible fee.

No one knows the precise details of the deal but all of the Ibrox messengers have been talking up the deal.

There have been some dissenting voices, being in mind that Demarai Gray was Everton’s record summer signing at £1.75m from Bayer Leverkusen.

On Saturday Everton are away to Hull in the FA Cup with the pressure on Rafa Benitez after one win in 12 matches.

So the fee is 5m……. Then paid for appearances.do you think Everton will play him 50 games a season??probably 49. Let’s say sevco might have been duped.

Considering that Newcastle have reportedly agreed a fee of £12 million for an established England internationalist in Kieran Trippier, with top level La Liga, Champions league and European championship experience, it’s pretty obvious that you can drive a bus through this Patterson valuation.
