Bob Malcolm has published a sarcastic reply to Ange Postecoglou’s claims about Saturday’s match at Alloa.
With three players taken off injured the Celtic boss instructed his players to hold back from physical contact to avoid further injury.
Malcolm, who had a very, very short spell under Postecoglou at Brisbane Roar was never known for his sophisticated style of play and has loyally trailed around as Barry Ferguson’s assistant at Clyde, Kelty Hearts and Alloa.

Callum McGregor and Yosuke Guchi are both facing lengthy spells on the sidelines with Stephen Welsh and Jota fortunate to avoid serious injury. Yesterday the SFA cited Alloa midfielder Mohamed Niang despite being booked by referee Don Robertson for his foul on Guchi.
Postecoglou has gone out of his way to avoid criticising referees since he came to Celtic last summer but it seems that the match at Alloa has been a tipping point.
After the match Celtic striker Giorgos Giakoumakis said that their part-time opponents had crossed a line.
