Celtic have ensured that Ewan Henderson won’t be playing against them this season.
The midfielder will sign a three year contract with Hibs in the summer but the initial move is on loan which prevents him from playing against Celtic between now and May.
Celtic host Hibs on January 17, travel to Easter Road on February 27 with the likely prospect of a post-split clash with Shaun Maloney’s side. A Scottish Cup clash can’t be ruled out with the two clubs going all the way to the final of the League Cup.
?? Ewan Henderson has joined @HibernianFC, initially on a six-month loan for the remainder of this season before joining the Easter Road side permanently at the end of the term.

Henderson spent a season working with Maloney in the Celtic Development squad during which he made his first team debut, as a substitute at home to Kilmarnock in May 2018.
The midfielder’s progress ground to a halt under Neil Lennon with a loan move to Ross County in August 2019 recalled in January 2020.
Henderson’s departure is likely to be followed by Liam Shaw who is in talks with Motherwell over a loan move to the Lanarkshire side.
Bring back the reserve league. This toughened guys up and gave them experience playing with first team guys on the road back from injury. To many lightweights in football nowadays.
Bringing back the reserve league would give young players valuable game time and experience playing against seasoned professionals
