Euan Anderson will referee his fourth Celtic SPFL match of the season when he takes charge of the match at home to Dundee United.

The schoolteacher from Clydebank was in charge of the first home match of the season against Dundee, the away defeat at Livingston and the December win over Motherwell.

Saturday’s match will be Celtic’s 24th of the SPFL Premiership season, behind Bobby Madden on five matches, Anderson has had more Celtic games than any other referee, so far 17 officials have been awarded Premiership fixtures.

So far this season Anderson hasn’t been given any international appointments, across all domestic competitions he has had 21 matches, issuing 91 yellow and four red cards

Andrew Dallas will be the fourth official at Saturday’s match, despite claims elsewhere Kevin Clancy remains in the pool of Premiership referees, taking charge of Dundee v St Mirren on Saturday.

With eight days to go the SFA hasn’t announced the name of the referee for the Glasgow derby on February 2.
