Ally McCoist has uttered the amazing words ‘I don’t want to talk’.

The cheeky chappie of Scottish football has transferred his personality into English football, sharing his views and expertise with BT Sport, Sky Sports, TalkSPORT and Amazon which seems to involve working seven days a week.

It seems that losing out to Forfar Athletic, Falkirk, Raith Rovers and Queen of the South as well as more famously to Malmo and Maribor hasn’t impacted on his blossoming media career.

After putting a shift in somewhere on Tuesday night while Aberdeen were drawing with Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s stars McCoist was on the early shift at TalkSPORT to share his views on Tuesday’s matches.

Tuning in to the former Ibrox manager on Wednesday morning, the Daily Record reports:

Speaking on talkSPORT, he said: “I was so disappointed in both my teams last night, they were rotten, they were rotten man, Chelsea, and Rangers were worse. I don’t want to talk about either of them, move on, I’ve annoyed myself.

Chelsea drew 1-1 at Brighton despite taking the lead.

Normally the Record and Scottish Sun can be relied on to report on some cheeky jibes from McCoist, usually at a club that has won 13 of the last 16 domestic competitions.

Aberdeen scorer Lewis Ferguson is the son of McCoist’s former team-mate Derek Ferguson, none of McCoist’s sons have made a career in football.

This weekend McCoist will be in demand for EPL fixtures while a Friday night shift at Ibrox can’t be ruled out for subscribers to Premier Sports.
