A study by the football observatory has revealed that Sevco get penalties more frequently than any other club in the SPFL Premiership.
The news is unlikely to come as a surprise to anyone with the slightest interest in the Scottish game although it is newsworthy for the Evening Times.

Since the start of the 2018/19 season, when Mr Gerrard arrived in Glasgow, the Ibrox club have been awarded one penalty every four matches. Famously in February 2019 Andrew Dallas went overboard with four penalties in the same match against St Mirren.
In contrast Celtic are awarded a penalty every sixth match despite being the dominant force in Scottish football for over 60% of the time covered by the survey.

Additionally it is now more than two years since a Sevco player was red carded in a domestic game, last year Kemar Roofe, Leon Balogun, John Lundstram and Glen Kamara were sent off in UEFA matches.
