With attention on Aaron Ramsey the financial reality of life at Ibrox has been highlighted by Hearts rejecting a second bid for John Souttar.Â
The defender has already agreed a pre-contract deal to move to Ibrox in the summer but could well spend the rest of the season at Tynecastle.Â
A bid in the region of £300,000 is being reported with Hearts holding out for £500,000 up front rather than get their fingers burnt on a Lee Wallace type deal.Â

Talks are on-going for the loan transfer of Ramsey with the Welsh internationalist believed to be in Glasgow to finalise the move.Â
