Remains very much on the Parkhead to do list- Celtic looking to do business on 2019 flop

Transfer

Finding a club for Boli Bolingoli is a priority on Celtic January to do list according to the Daily Mail.

So far this season the former Rapid Vienna wing-back has made two appearances with Greg Taylor, Liam Scales and Josip Juranovic in front of him for a place at left-back

Bolingoli was part of Peter Lawwell’s disastrous 2019 recruitment plan that saw Hatem Abd Elhamed, Marian Shved and Vakoun Bayo brought on and quietly disposed of having made little impact. Earlier this week Lee O’Connor left Celtic for Tranmere Rovers.

There are still a number of legacy transfer issues to be resolved from the last few transfer windows, picking up on a snippet from a rival publication, the Daily Record reports:

Meanwhile, Boli Bolingoli faces a game of patience to secure his exit from Parkhead.

The Belgian left-back is way down the pecking order and hasn’t turned out in green and white since the 2-0 win over Motherwell back in October.

The Daily Mail stated finding a new club for Bolingoli remains very much on the Parkhead to do list before the window closes on Monday night.

Bolingoli played in the Champions League last season while on loan at Basaksehir of Istanbul.

With a contract running until May 2023 Bolingoli could be an issue for Celtic through another couple of transfer windows.
