Sewer scraping BBC Scotland call on Braveheart Hendry for Scott Brown attack

Rather than deal with the real issues of Scottish football BBC Scotland decided to spend licence payers money on a spot of Scott Brown bashing.

On Friday afternoon the club from Ibrox leaked to their friends at Sky Sports that they had complained about Kevin Clancy’s performance in the 1-1 draw at Aberdeen.

Denying the Dons at clear first half penalty wasn’t included in the eight point dossier. Every media outlet had a story to run with throughout Friday with the spotlight on the match referee who had become the first Scottish referee in 25 months to send off an Ibrox player.

BBC Scotland could have recalled Crawford Allan, he was quickly on the scene last month when Kis Boyd got upset about a goal scored by Kyogo Furuhashi.

The state broadcaster could have put in a call to Kenny Clarke or Charlie Richmond to defend Clancy’s honour and attack the complaints and leak from Ibrox.

Instead they opted to turn attention on Scott Brown- by bringing in the walking disgrace that is Colin Hendry. Braveheart got upset by Brown’s gestures!

A quick search for Colin Hendry on the BBC website reveals a man leading a very chequered life. Whether it is a drive-drive charge in 2015, harassing and assaulting an ex-girlfriend the same year or as harassment warning Braveheart has a full house.

But if he can be used to deflect from Ibrox and call out Scott Brown he’ll be useful to the state broadcaster.
