From Monday football fans will be back in football stadiums, there will be more than 50,000 inside Celtic Park for the visit of Hibs with the turnstiles busy at Pittodrie and Tynecastle the following night.
Ten SPFL clubs have been vindicated for their foresight and putting supporters first- two qualities that would never be attributed to the chief sports writer of BBC Scotland.
When Hamish, Ross, Stewarty and Campbell gather at Murrayfield next month Tom English will be able to marvel at the wonderful atmosphere as the international egg-chasing gets underway.

Two Scottish clubs wanted matches to continue in front of crowds of 500, one from Dingwall and the other from Ibrox, strangely English can’t bring himself to mention them by name.
No explanation has been given by either club for voting to play in front of 500 fans, questions certainly haven’t been asked by English and his colleagues at the state broadcaster.
On Friday night BBC Scotland will show the Championship match between Partick Thistle and Kilmarnock inside a near deserted Firhill. The match could be played in front of thousands of fans next week but it seems that BBC scheduling is more important than the needs of the national sport.
The really interesting thing to take from this email, is the collaboration in fabricating a narrative to get a point across.

The media were also demanding answers from the ten clubs that wanted to bring the break forward but never bothered asking the two clubs why they wanted to play in virtually empty stadiums.
The media went after the majority as opposed to questioning the motives of the minority.
