Chris Jullien has issued a fresh update and thank you to Celtic fans following his return to action on Sunday.Â
After more than 13 months out injured the defender was sent on as a 74th minute substitute for Cameron Carter-Vickers in the 4-0 Scottish Cup win over Raith Rovers.Â
Jullien made the bench against Alloa last month but with the run of fixtures and Carter-Vickers and Carl Starfelt settled in defence he has had to be patient to get an opportunity to get back on the pitch.Â
With the mental block of getting back in action overcome Jullien will now have to try and find a way into Ange Postecoglou’s plans.Â
Stephen Welsh has been the back up central defender over the last month and has enjoyed two 90 minute appearances against Alloa and Raith Rovers.Â
Postecoglou seems reluctant to rest or rotate his central defenders but with a heavy run of fixtures underway there could be opportunities for the popular Frenchman.Â
