There were claims on social media last night that the standing section at Celtic Park will be closed for Sunday’s Scottish Cup tie against Raith Rovers.
It seems that the flares or TIFO from last week’s Glasgow derby has upset some sensitive souls, after they had soaked up the atmosphere that contributed hugely to a highly significant win.
Nothing has yet been confirmed but these sort of issues tend to drip out of the club followed by a low key announcement and warning about future actions.
So fucking stupid from the board
We won that game and the atmosphere was spearheaded as always by the standing section and the green brigade
Once again the board do their best to fuck up the good thing we have going at the club right now

The atmosphere at last week’s derby has been commended from a variety of sources. Ange Postecoglou and various players highlighted the impact of the fans as Celtic started the match at a ferocious pace to lead 3-0 going into the break.
Some house rules may have been broken but online there wasn’t a single word of criticism as the pre-match banners, TIFO and singing set the tone for the most memorable Celtic Park night since Manchester City and Bayern Munich were regular visitors.
In the autumn the Green Brigade held a number of silent protests against the rumoured appointment of Bernard Higgins to a security role in the club, eventually friends of Higgins announced that he wouldn’t be joining Celtic from Police Scotland.
Apparently not something to do with the game last Wednesday against rangers ?
