It was a day of contrasting emotions for the fans at the top of the SPFL.Â
Celtic fans went from dismay and despair to delight over the course of an afternoon after points dropped away to Hibs were matched by the newly crowned Champions of Europe.Â
Around Ibrox they had the same emotions in reverse. Closing the gap at the top of the table was on the menu after watching Celtic slip up but Thursday’s heroes failed to see through a 2-0 lead against a Motherwell side that hasn’t won in the SPFL this year.Â
It was a deflating experience all round. Realising that Motherwell, Ross County, Dundee United and Aberdeen can match the tactics of Giovanni van Bronckhorst is a tough to take on board after last season’s Behind Closed Doors success.Â

Shouting abuse at Allan McGregor isn’t likely to solve any problems but it seems that no one was spared as the champions were booed off the pitch at the final whistle.Â
Boo, boo boo, boo hoo hoo bah blub blab boo hoo. Tears of the Blues as their dreams crash down. Tears of a Heart and Hand clown. Yes we were dire at Hibs today, however we stay top and the bottle merchants did what bottle merchants do. Not an easy ride is it Sevco retaining a Title.
All these stories about them. Let’s forget them and concentrate on us and why we are struggling l.
Oh dear the wheels of the previously unstoppable Sevco juggernaut are coming off. It is a delight to behold the everso loyal Sevconuts turning on their own team. Long may it continue.
