I believe there were safety concerns- Celtic SLO comments on rumoured Green Brigade issue
John Paul Taylor has admitted that part of the standing section at Celtic Park could be closed for Sunday’s Scottish Cup tie against Raith Rovers.
Rumours surfaced on social media last night that issues had been raised following the Glasgow derby despite widespread praise for the fans and atmosphere during Celtic’s 3-0 win.
Celtic Park has the only standing section in top level Scottish sport but with it comes extra legislation with Health and Safety issues closely monitored.
Don’t think anyone is banned, I believe there were safety concerns from the last match that are being worked on, anyone who has a ticket for the front section for Sunday will be offered an alternative or a refund

The Green Brigade were in full flow before, during and after last week’s match as Celtic’s players turned on the style with all three goals scored at the side of the ground closest to the standing section.
Now it seems inevitable that that section will be closed for Sunday’s Scottish Cup tie, the Raith match is followed by two more home matches, against Bodo Glint and Dundee.
