Instagram: Joe Hart absolutely gets it!

The ‘old man’ of the Celtic side is lapping up every moment of the title challenge that Ange Postecoglou’s new look team is putting together. 

At the end of July it looked like Joe Hart’s time in the spotlight would be reduced to television studios as he compared his own days at Manchester City with the Pep Guardiola reign. 

In danger of slipping out of the game as an understudy at Burnley and Spurs Hart answered an SOS from Celtic in early August with neither side of that deal having any reason to regret the decision. 

There has been the occasional blip but Hart brings much more than goalkeeping to the Celtic side, he even provides signed shirts for Carl Starfelt’s Uncle! 

Getting it right between the posts is pivotal to succeed, it is fairly new at Celtic where Athur Boruc, Fraser Forster and Craig Gordon set new standards in excellence. 

For a youthful Celtic side to see the commitment and passion of a multiple winner like Hart behind them all the way is invaluable. Hart turns 35 in April, an age that footballers can collect a pension but more medals are the priority for the 76-times capped keeper.
