While mainstream broadcasters perform financial gymnastics Tam Sellic Son has compiled an emotional compilation of how STV reported the death of Rangers back in 2012.Â
In February the club had gone into administratIon but despite a worldwide fanbase they were unable to follow Motherwell, Livingston or Dundee by coming up with a CVA to satisfy creditors led by Her Majesty. Alongwith Dave King she rejected the half hearted offer to settle the debt.Â
STV was one of 276 creditors, alongside thousands of fans who had paid for Debenture seats they attended the nine minute meeting which put the club into liquidation.Â
As presenter John McKay repeatedly stated a new club was formed, seeking admission to the Scottish Football League where they were given a place in the Third Division ahead of well run clubs in the Highland and Lowland Leagues.Â

STV reporter: Well that’s it, the meeting took just nine minutes. It started with one of the administrators saying that it was rather academic and that’s the way that it turned out to be.Â
One hundred and thirteen years of history is over, Rangers PLC is finished and the club is now heading towards liquidation.Â
