Loud shouts that you can hear- how Ange anger interrupted Premier Sport commentary!

For almost all of his Celtic career Ange Postecoglou has been gently pushing through his changes at the club in positive, constructive terms.

Patiently on the training ground he has explained his ways, in the media he has taken on the chin the most ridiculous of questions with a mainly gentle rebuke of ‘mate’ and moved on. Barely a flicker on anger.

After disappointing results and set backs he has focussed on the bigger picture, progress was being made even if results occasionally suggested otherwise.

Over the last three or four months there hasn’t been much to upset Postecoglou but at home to Raith Rovers yesterday his bark returned with the Premier Sport microphones picking up the ‘instructions’, forcing commentator Rory Hamilton to share the source of the touchline anger with viewers.

The half time team talk would have been direct and to the point, afterwards Postecoglou spoke of how he could never accept players putting in a 45 minute shift.

After winning the League Cup, reaching the top of the Premiership and the last eight of the Scottish Cup Postecoglou isn’t for letting up. Everyone involved yesterday will be more aware of that than ever.
